I cannot access my old email
You cannot change your sign-in address in the service. A new address can join the same family when a guardian of the family invites it as a second guardian. Takes about 3 minutes.
Up to date
Ask another guardian of your family to create an invitation link
Any guardian of the family can create the link in "Perhe › Perhe ja lapset › Huoltajat" (Family › Family and children › Guardians) with "Kutsu toinen huoltaja" (Invite a second guardian). If you are still signed in on some device, you can create the link yourself.
Copy the link and sign out of the old account
If you are still signed in with the old account in the same browser, copy the link first. Then sign out ("Perhe › Kirjaudu ulos", Family › Sign out) or open the link in another browser.
Open the invitation link and sign in with the new address
The sign-in link and code are sent to the new address. Do not create a new family with the new address: one account can only belong to one family at a time.
Ask the family's owner to remove the old account
The owner can remove the old account under Huoltajat (Guardians). The family's owner cannot be removed in the service, so if the old account is the owner, email us.
If something does not work
- You are the family's only guardian.
- Then nobody can invite your new address. Email us at tuki@kukakuskaa.fi and we will look into it.
- The screen says "Kuulut jo perheeseen. Yksi tunnus voi kuulua yhteen perheeseen kerrallaan." (You already belong to a family. One account can belong to one family at a time.)
- The new address already belongs to another family and cannot be moved in the service. Email us and we will look into it.
- The screen says "Olet jo perheessä" (You are already in the family) and your family's name.
- You are still signed in with the old account. Sign out ("Perhe › Kirjaudu ulos", Family › Sign out) or open the link in another browser, and sign in with the new address.
Can support change my address?
At the moment the address cannot be changed in the service, and support cannot change it either. Email us anyway and we will look into it.
Will I lose ownership of my carpool group?
No. A carpool group is run by a family, not by one account, so the new account in the same family can run the group.
