How the Today view works
Today shows the day's practices and who takes the children there and who brings them back. You can browse ahead as far as practices have been created, which is 28 days. Takes about 2 minutes.
Up to date
See the day's practices
Each practice is its own card. The left half of the card's bottom edge is the ride there and the right half the ride back, for example "Sinä viet" (You drive there), "Kuka hakee?" (Who picks them up?) or "Ei paluukyytiä" (No ride back).
Change the day
Tap a day in the day strip, or move five days at a time with the arrows. Past days are not shown.
Open a practice
Tap the card to see every car and child on the practice's page.
Arrange a ride straight from the card
Tap the ride-there or ride-back part of the card and choose who in your family drives. This works while nobody drives yet or while your own family drives.
If something does not work
- The screen says "Ei harjoituksia tänään." (No practices today.) and the time of the next practice.
- There is no practice today. The next practice is shown on the same line.
- The screen says "Kun rinkiin on lisätty harjoitusajat, päivän kyydit näkyvät tässä." (Once practice times are added, the day's rides appear here.)
- The group has no practice times yet. The group's owner adds them on the group's page.
- The screen says "Luo kuskausrinki tai liity toisen perheen kutsulinkillä, niin näet päivän kyydit täällä." (Create a carpool group or join one with an invitation link.)
- Your family is not in a carpool group yet. Create a group or ask another family for an invitation link.
- A practice is missing from the day's timeline.
- A cancelled practice is listed below the timeline, marked "Peruttu" (Cancelled).
Can I see the whole week?
Today shows one day at a time. You change the day in the day strip.
Will I be notified of changes?
Changes are shown on the notice card in Today and on the group's page. The service does not send notifications to your phone.
Next
- Taking a driving turn or changing the driverThe ride there and the ride back are two separate rides, and you can offer to drive either one. The other families in the group see which family drives.
- When your child does not need a rideWhen your child is not coming to a practice, or has their own ride, mark it on the practice's page. Then nobody looks for a seat for them.
