Taking a driving turn or changing the driver
The ride there and the ride back are two separate rides, and you can offer to drive either one. The other families in the group see which family drives. Takes about 2 minutes.
Up to date
Open the practice
Tap the practice in Today or on the group's page. The practice's page has one section for the ride there and one for the ride back.
Offer to drive
In the "Paikkoja kuskin lisäksi" (Seats besides the driver) menu, choose how many seats your car has besides the driver, and tap "Ilmoittaudu kuskiksi" (Sign up to drive), or "Aja sinäkin" (Drive too) if the ride already has a car. Your own children are placed in your car.
Change the driver within your family
In Today, tap the ride-there or ride-back part of the card and choose who in your family drives. The group only sees your family's name.
Cancel your drive
On the practice's page, tap "Peru kyytini" (Cancel my drive). The children in your car are moved to other cars if there is room. Otherwise they wait for a ride.
If something does not work
- You said you would drive, but now you cannot.
- Tap "En pääse ajamaan" (I cannot drive) on the practice's page to ask the group for help.
- The ride-there or ride-back part of the card cannot be tapped.
- When another family drives, their ride cannot be changed from the card. You can still offer to drive on the practice's page.
- The practice's page says "Kyydit lukittu" (Rides locked).
- 60 minutes before the practice, the automatic arranging of rides stops. Changes can still be made by hand, and the group is told about them.
- The card says "Vaihda kuski" (Change driver).
- The chosen driver has something else at the same time. Choose another driver for this ride, or ask the group for help on the practice's page.
How do I cancel a driving turn?
Open the practice and tap "Peru kyytini" (Cancel my drive). In Today you can also choose "Ei vielä tiedossa" (Not known yet): your family's car is then removed from the ride, and its children need a ride again.
Can I set an adult from another family as the driver?
No. You can only choose someone on your own family's list of drivers.
