Connecting your child's myClub calendar
When you connect myClub, your child's upcoming practices and attendance are shown in the service. You need the myClub app on your phone, where you create calendar subscriptions for your child. Takes about 5 minutes.
Up to date
Open the guided connection
Open "Perhe › Harrastuskalenterit" (Family › Activity calendars) and tap "Yhdistä lapsen myClub" (Connect your child's myClub). Choose the child, type the activity and tap "Aloita" (Start).
Create the subscriptions in myClub
In the myClub app, open the "Tapahtumat" (Events) view and choose "Kalenteritilaukset" (Calendar subscriptions) from the three-dot menu. Create the attendance subscriptions as the guide shows. In each, switch on only your own child's member account.
Copy the links
For each subscription, choose "Kopioi kalenterin osoite" (Copy calendar address). Do not tap "Lisää kalenteriin" (Add to calendar): that sends the link to your phone's own calendar.
Paste the links
Paste one link into each field and tap "Yhdistä" (Connect). The fields are named like the subscriptions you created in myClub.
If something does not work
- The calendar says that the third link is missing.
- All three attendance links are needed: "Osallistuu" (Attending), "Ei osallistu" (Not attending) and "Ei vastausta" (No answer). Tap "Lisää kolmas linkki" (Add the third link) and paste the missing link.
- The screen says "Kaksi linkeistä on samat." (Two of the links are the same.)
- The same link has been pasted twice. Copy each subscription's own address.
- A sibling's practices appear in the calendar.
- The subscription has more than one member account switched on. Fix it in myClub so that only one child is on, and replace the links with "Vaihda linkit" (Replace links).
- Changes do not appear straight away.
- The information is fetched from myClub when you open Today or a carpool group's page. The calendar's card also has a "Päivitä nyt" (Update now) button.
- You stopped half way through the guide.
- The step is kept, but the links you pasted are not. Paste them again when you continue.
Does the service change anything in myClub?
No. The service only reads the calendar. Attendance answers are changed in myClub.
How do I remove the connection?
Tap the bin icon on the calendar's card and confirm with "Poista" (Remove). Rides that were agreed are not removed.
